About MzansiTalk
Who we are
MzansiTalk is a South African entertainment and social video platform built for everyday people across all nine provinces. We started with one simple idea: South Africans are some of the funniest, most creative storytellers in the world, and they deserve a home-grown place to share that talent instead of getting lost on platforms built for other countries. From Soweto comedy skits and Durban dance challenges to Cape Town street music, township food clips, soccer reactions, matric memories and family celebrations, MzansiTalk collects the videos that make Mzansi laugh, dance and talk.
Anyone can watch on MzansiTalk. Our homepage shows 10 trending reels free without registering. To unlock full feeds, upload, chat, follow, like, comment and go live you need to create account and either get Premium R50 for 6 months or invite 3 friends who pay Premium using your referral link. Data is expensive in SA, so we keep pages light, videos compressed and mobile-first.
What members can do
A free account lets you view 10 trending reels. A Premium account (R50/6 months) OR account with 3 paid referrals unlocks full app: upload videos/reels/24-hour status, comment, like, follow, private messaging and go live. Members can also join Affiliate Program - share your link /ref/yourname, earn 40% = R20 per Premium sale, 3 paid referrals needed to unlock app and to withdraw. Creator Programme coming soon for top creators.
Safety and standards
Every upload passes through automated moderation and a human review queue. Hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, graphic violence and copyright infringement are removed, and repeat offenders lose their accounts. Members can report any video or comment, and account holders can appeal a moderation decision within 24 hours.
